Ever wondered why some of your episodes or tv shows never show up in your Kodi library and have a hard time figuring out which? Well here’s a quick and easy way to find out. In the official Kodi repository there’s an add-on called “Missing Movies” (don’t be fooled by the name) which will tell you exactly the episodes or tv shows that are not added to the library yet. It does this by comparing the episodes or tv shows in your library against the ones available on your harddisk or server. Comparing this might take a while but when done it will tell you which files are missing and then it’s up to your to find out why.
The reason could be anything.
– Wrong file name
– Wrong folder name of the movie
– Small typo in file or folder which screws up the search result
Once the add-on identified some of the missing episodes i’ll show you how to fix them. Once that is fixed the movie should show up in your library if you trigger a scan.
