  1. this is my first time ever having heard of a Monte Cristo sandwich!! i only have one query abut this sandwich!! why the powdered sugar? we`re talking about a meat and cheese sandwich. why not a dip for the sandwich? not knowing anything about the sandwich, i`d like to learn about the consuming part of it!! thank you so much for sharing my friend, with love from Wes!! hugs!!!

  2. Does anyone remember Bennigan's Restaurant that served these?  OMG, they were amazing.  My husband's favorite sandwich.  Bennigan's served them with raspberry jam, I think.  I'm definitely going to make these over the holidays. Thanks!
