Gov Branstad of Iowa signed the new Iowa Gun law. They claim the gun permits are lifetime but I read the law and its 5 years. There are 99 counties and want uniform gun permits since they are issued by each sheriff. Not sure if renewal will require the boring course to renew. Please advise.
