  1. Moose is smart, using his height advantage in the water.

That was tough though. I didn’t know who to root for. They both just want to survive.

Are you the pilot? Did you purposefully try to scare the wolf away from the moose at the end?

  2. I think that was a pretty strategic moose – going to a depth where the wolf couldn’t walk, or comfortably swim, but had to kind of do both – it slowed him down.

I reckon if moose could see down and aim properly, it would have won – and they would be Earth’s apex predator.

  3. I didn’t see the wolf hanging on lol!
I thought it was being sneaky and staying under the silty water… I’m not very smart.

Surely it isn’t normal behaviour for a wolf (even a sneaky one) to attack a moose all alone?

  4. Does anyone know what type of drone/camera was used to capture this footage? And how far away can you be while flying and recording? Thanks! This was amazing.

  5. This needs to be converted into a children’s book, narrated by Morgan Freeman immediately.

“And that wolf swam and swam and swam. He hoped for a tasty snack, but hope is a dangerous thing, my friend. I wish I could tell you the wolf fought the good fight. I wish I could tell you that… But Canada is no fairy-tale world.”

  6. I’m looking forward to the video of the wolf where OP is so busy drone flying he doesn’t see the wolf coming up behind him and eating him while he films it on the drone.

  7. Where the fuck was that second wolf during all the MORTAL COMBAT?
Goddamn shirkers. Great footage though. Seriously, an emotional rollercoaster. I even liked the music. lol

  8. I wonder if the sound of the drone watching the moose attracted the wolf to investigate then it saw the moose and tried to take it down.

It noticed the drone a few times like during the first swim-chase and when it started to retreat.
