This is one of the memorable TC episodes for me. I really get confused about the American edition where obviously the restaurant owners contact TC for help, but when Chef Gordon is there and gives critiques, they treat him like shite. Like, then why did you ask for help then? Anyway, reading other comments, glad to know this restaurant is still in business.
What an incredibly nice wife he has. 4 real. She believes in him and supports him and stood strong to him, even in the worst moments, when she was clearly seeing his delusion – if she didn`t already know before the start (I assume that tbh – I think she just tried everything to get him back on his feet and got gordon there for that reason initially)
Whenever I hear Gordon says "I wouldn't even serve that to my dogs" I always go and imagine gordon making his pets taste his foods and be his critiques about the dish
