To eat bedides meat or vegetables we never add salt in eat we doble the cups of water in a pot over the stove simple.Also chinesse fried rice is delicious with sesame oil oister sauce eggs and chpped chives.In Peru wecprepare rice with chicken peruvian chili onions freh garlic and cilantro shaked in water plis piecescof corn.     Referring to your one cup of white long grain rice and one cup of water, if I use brown long grain should there be more water or/and cooked for longer. Thank you. Margaret.

  3. Even the classic white rice has hundreds of varieties that have varying cooking procedures to get the optimum result. Very tricky. Always been an interesting topic even for someone who ate that every waking day ever since I can remember.

  4. I eat rice all the time…lunch and dinner. Nowadays I try to use brown rice that's the reason I wanna watch this video. White rice is very basic and easy.
