  1. That nail puppet has been around really 75 years I have one that read my grandfather's from when he had a blacksmith/auto/ ending shop when he was young the tool is slightly different but the head is the same….. the rubber replacement for ratchet straps is no different than strips if old inner tube …Asia ones innertube is the go to tie down for everything

  2. I actually bought a Fiskars framing hammer last year because of your recommendation and it turned out to suck! the vibration transfer is incredibly bad. I had to discontinue using it because I developed a severe "carpenter's arm lesion " after 25 years in the trade it was the first time… After several months of not using the Fiskars hammer, I'm just fine….

  3. Hultafors makes great hand tools, although they are on the expensive side, it is definitively something you can treat yourself too. Their new levels with the focus vials are fantastic, however they are made by SOLA in Austria. Their measuring tapes are great but are made by Fisco in the UK (and you can get them cheaper directly).

  4. The spider bits are the best hole saw bit you can buy, but pay attention to what you are doing with them!!!! I wasn't and my finger was in the side opening of a 6in hole saw and I almost lost my finger. Luckily I wasn't holding on very tightly to the drill I was actually climbing down the ladder and didn't notice that my finger was in the slot and just barely touched the trigger. I love hole saws and I still use them to this day and they blow everybody's mind when they see how fast they actually cut and how they pop the plug out in a few seconds.
