We challenged chefs of three different skill levels – an amateur, a home cook, and a professional – to make us a doughnut of their choice. After each of them had presented their creation, we asked a food scientist to review their work. Which one would you take first, hot off the tray?

  2. So Shane didn't go the bang biscuit with a hole cut out routine for his doughnuts. Instead he baked them. Who bakes doughnuts? Who knew they make a pan to do that? Not me. Tracy looks she needs a good night's sleep. Anthony for the win with a down-to-earth doughnut that looked like something I'd like to eat.
