  1. There is nothing quite as vile as taking a good unassuming ingredient like wild ramps and preparing it in a way that completely betrays its humble roots. The choice of the ostentatious serving dish aside, the use of balsamic and parm just screams "pretentious", not to mention that the flavors simply do not work. The maker of the video would do well to heed the advice of the commenter below, these ramps need no more than butter. Less is more sometimes.
