This video is one of the best videos on how people can be manipulated. It looks so fake but only a few people in the comments realized. There is no way that such talk if it was real, hasn't got any applause or hand claps, at least one person from the audience. That sound how she walks away without single person clapping the hands is fake and added there additionally. At least it looks like to me.
I read a book Ted talks at the moment and also study psychology in my free time. It is not possible for all the people in the hall that not a single person clapped their hands or started to talk about something when she walked away. You could hear at least some turmoil in the background. And nobody of you noticed. Easily manipulated people on youtube. Of course, I don't agree with killing animals.
I'm very much in favour of the message – it is disgraceful how pigs, cows and chickens (in particular) are raised. I have experienced the conditions first-hand. I just wish it didn't take a fake lecture to get people to notice, and am sorry that most viewers are taken in – surely, with just a little thought, you'd realise this 'marketeer' was burning her career, the cuts to audience expressions just don't happen in real lectures (watch TED videos). And I'm not convinced this 'educating' people this way – with entertainment – has any lasting effect. Are you really going to do anything, or just repost on FaceBook to show the world you care?

This woman tells us what she has done for years and we should applaud ? I say that I have never seen at the bottom of a function definition: "you are paid to manipulate, steal and lie to the customer", if the employees do it is of their own free will. As a physico-chemist, twice in two very large companies I refused to close my eyes, in both cases for security reasons. My contracts were not renewed and I did not care. I have respected myself, I especially respected the trust that people put naturally in the professionalism of others (when you go to your baker, naturally you trust in the baguette you buy him, you do not expect that let him put plaster in his flour). No soloition given no right to complain we are 7 000 000 000 strong most of india doesnt eat meat yet they have the most cattle in the world I dont claim a solotion either neither am i ignorant what happens I live in a nation where we are shown thought i wont stop eating meat but a start would be to buy local buy more chicken and pork and set 1 or 2 days a week aside for only vegetables and try eating beef once a month but you dont have to go veagan.

I started to watch this video but what a terribly disappointment to see that this lady is only advocating for "better treatment of animals" She is totally blind to the fact that we do not need to consume animals and that however "nicely" animals are treated they still get murdered. Wake up everyone. Time to evolve and go vegan!
I'm sensitive to the animal cause and agree meat consumption should decrease, but I also think this video sucks and the level of irony in it is staggering. Basically, whoever made this assume they are adressing a public dumb enough to let themselves be mislead and swayed by whatever bullshit is written by ads and marketing, because what is pointed out is pretty obvious. And assuming this, instead of really spelling it out and making an obvious satire or using a clever way of poking fun to honestly inform everyone while keeping them entertained, they've decided to take a dramatic stance, and muddy the waters by making an actress play the part of a manipulative heartless marketing bitch while leaving it to the viewer – assumed to be stupid enough to believe at face value what's written on packages – to leave facebook or twitter or wherever they got this video from where the description is unavailable (and where it may have some other misleading description suggesting this "eTalk" really happened), and go check the video's source and realizing no marketer in this industry would be willing to stand on a stage, reveal marketing tactics and call the audience morons in a barely veiled fashion, all while snickering. And I'm pretty sure not many audiences would sit there and take it, which points out to the audience also all being actors. I'm even pretty sure a bunch of marketers are good hearted people and do their jobs without so much cynicism and contempt for others, and simply thinking everyone is or at least should be informed enough to know not to believe packaging at face value. People gullible enough to genuinely need the information of this video may even think marketers are really that bad a bunch of cynical and despicable people. I don't know between the makers of this video and the marketers of food packaging who is more guilty of taking people for complete morons. The goal of this video seems to be to make people feel stupid, and hate people working in marketing with the portrayal of this character. The only remaining audience for this video is people informed enough to already know things like that and who do their own research, know this eTalk is fake and staged, and therefor don't really need this video, except maybe to occasionally get a change from S&M pornography and rub one out while wallowing in drama, patting themselves on the back for doing the right thing and atoning for humanity's gluttony sins, and thinking how clever they are and how nice it is to inject a nice dose of guilt and feeling of stupidity onto others. Way to go.

Although It sounds Cruel to the animals, but this is what we called food chain. Just like when we watch documentaries, when people see a wolf biting and tearing animals' skin, some people will think that it is cruel and horrific. However, you can't tell them to eat grass or anything. They are born to eat meat. If they don't eat meat , they won't survive. Just like we humans, we are born to eat mutiple kinds of food. We can eat almost all kinds of food , but we cannot really eat only either Vegetable or meat. We all need to obtain different kinds of nutrients to gain a good health. Just like fat may be sounded bad in many commercial but in fact we all need appropriate amount of fat to gain a good health. Therefore, I think that people need to eat different types of food to gain better health , not only vegetables nor meats. we all need all these kinds of food to balance to survive.
This is cruel but we must know that in order to survive , there must be some sacrifice.
