Thick Crust Homemade Pizza #shorts #pizza #cooking

Dough
3 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/3 cups luke warm water (heated to 100 f)
1 packet dry yeast ( 2 1/4 tsp)
1 Tbsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 Tbsp olive oil

Preheat oven to 500f
Sauce
14 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp dried oregano
2 Tbsp tomato paste

Toppings:
Mozzarella cheese, pepperoni or toppings of your choice

Directions
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add your warm water, yeast and sugar. Mix and let sit for 5 minutes. Using dough hook, add flour, salt and oil. Combine on low speed. Once a dough has formed, mix on medium low speed for 7-10 minutes. Add dough to a greased bowl. Cover with kitchen towel and let rise for 1 1/2 hr. or until doubled.

For the sauce, blend sauce ingredients until smooth. Then set aside.

Once your dough has doubled, punch it down, then divide it into two equal pieces. Shape into two balls, then place on a baking sheet and cover with a kitchen towel. Let rest for 20 minutes.
Once your dough has rested, using a closed fist begin to punch out the center of the dough leaving a thin border forming a crust.
Once your shaped, transfer to a baking stone or steel. Then top with sauce, cheese and desired toppings.

Bake at 500f 11-14 minutes.
Remove from oven, then slice and enjoy!

  1. It's not the actual pizza dough process!! The first one with oil in the pizza dough doesn't go!! Second thing in the sauce just a little A basil leaf oil and salt nothing else!! I do not approve!! 👎👎ps During the dough formation phase – therefore – the olive oil must always be poured a few minutes from the end when the gluten mesh is already structured, otherwise it would hinder the the formation of the pizza dough.LONG LIVE MADE ITALY 🇮🇹 And in the hearts of Italians truly food!!
