I understand what he is saying regarding the back door and other people can get your info if he does the software but there is a very fine line here people’s safety and personal information (their lives on a device) or the actual lives of innocent people in the future if there is info on this phone! What would you ask for if it was your loved one that had been targeted and killed would you still be saying oh go apple 👍🏻 no I know I wouldn’t!. I do however agree there shouldn’t be a new software that affects all iPhones but maybe something built that each iPhone is independently coded some how!

Even if Apple could give the information to the government that could have helped prevent the terrorist attack, there probably wouldn't have been any grounds for the government to go after the terrorist since, until an illegal act is committed, there are no grounds to access the information. Having access to anybody's data on the "suspicion of threats to national security" is not sufficient grounds.
What he's saying is total bullshit because apple can view all the stuff you do, they could unlock the phone, they could do anything. What Tim is saying is morally correct, but we all know that he could do it.
